MRAM is applicated on Smart meter

Smart meters provide utilities with accurate, real-time monitoring of energy. The data from smart meters is often transmitted over a variety of wireless networks. Using this real-time data, utilities can monitor usage and detect anomalies, leading to efficiencies and cost savings.

Smart meters require high writing endurance as they need to write data continually. In addition, as OTA (Over The Air Programming) function is added, faster writing speed is required to reduce the time taken for S/W upgrade.
